Where Dennis stands
Parents send their kids to school every morning trusting that they will be safe. During Dennis’s time on the board, the district installed new perimeter fencing to further secure our campuses — a practical step that makes a real difference. Safety is also about how students feel: seen, supported, and connected to a caring adult. Dennis will keep both in focus.
Priorities
- Maintain and extend campus security improvements, including perimeter fencing and controlled access.
- Keep counselors and mental-health support within reach of every student.
- Practice and refine emergency plans in partnership with local first responders.
- Support healthy meals, recess, and activity so kids arrive ready to learn.
Safety isn’t a slogan — it’s fencing that got built and a school where every kid is known.
